In 1988, Maghreb Tubes launched a first galvanizing line, expanded in 1994 then in 1999 to successively reach double, then triple its initial capacity.
In 2000, Maghreb Tubes became Maghreb Steel, at the same time as the investment was made in the Tit Mellil cold rolling complex, inaugurated in 2001 by His Majesty King Mohamed VI. In 2003, the galvanizing capacity was doubled, as well as that of cold rolling, by the installation of new production lines.

In 2012, the Bled Solb steel complex, extending over sixty-two hectares of land and consisting of a scrap crusher, a steelworks and two hot rolling mills – coils and heavy plate – was inaugurated by Sa Majesty King Mohamed VI.
